The disappearing family farms of Kansas

The disappearing Kansas landscape,

old farm steads that once dotted the Kansas prairie

are slowly disappearing, What was once the life blood of the Kansas Farmer

has now been abandon and forgotten

Houses that once was the backbone of the family, the barns that housed the animals and stored the hay and grain are disappearing from the Kansas prairie, Long time forgotten and left for mother nature to reclaim as her own.

One could travel almost any back road in Kansas and find these great old Farms, only now to find they have been torn down or the earth has reclaimed them.
